McMafia tells the story of organized crime in modern-day Europe, and is based upon the bestselling nonfiction book by
Micha Glenny. The TV drama was created by Hossein Amini (“Drive”) and James Watkins, who directed all eight installments. James Norton plays Alex Godman who has spent his life trying to avoid the shadow of his family's criminal past, but when tragedy strikes, is drawn into the world of international crime.
